All newer motorcycles come with a side stand switch that kills the ignition when the side stand is open.
This can create problems when riding over bumps or going off road with an enduro or supermotard motorcycle. Additionally, the side stand switch cuts off the ignition when the side stand is removed for any reason such as trackday use.The Side Stand Switch Eliminator by SmartMoto is a plug and play device that bypasses the standard side stand switch and fools the ECU that it is in place.

Designed for Euro 5 models but all versions fitted with a lambda sensor will benefit by fitting the CRT Optimiser whether stock or tuned.

CRT Fuel Optimiser Fitting
Take off the left rad panel and there is also a tool box under there that can be removed to make things easier. Follow the cable back from the lambda sensor in the header pipe until you see the multi-plug connector. Then simply disconnect the multi-plug, fit the Fuel Optimiser into the cable from the lambda sensor and plug the other into the main loom. Be careful not to force the multi-plug connection and bend the fragile connector pins. Secure the cable from heat/sharp edges with ties and refit body panels in reverse order.
NOTE: Please take care when fitting this upgrade, the wiring pin connectons are small and easily damaged so ensure they are correctly aligned before making the connection and DO NOT BEND or clamp the link wire.
The engine 'Service' warning lamp maybe illuminated when starting the bike for the first few times. This will extinguish following a few rides once the ECU has automatically recalibrated.

Well the certainly sorted the crappy low end fueling I had as standard. Smoothed the engine, no stalling, and able to run a gear higher at low speed on narrow tracks. Runs like it should have from the factory. And no engine light. And easy fitting, tucks away nicely without fear of bending dongle if you feed the cable from the exhaust forward and tie away from hot parts. Not tried side stand dongle yet.
