Fuel Optimiser dongle for all Husqvarna 701, KTM 690 & GasGas 700 models but specially made for the 2021-on Euro 5 690/700/701 models, although works on any version fitted with lambda sensor in the header pipe.
Simply fitted in line with the original O2 sensor the Fuel Optimiser gives the engine more fuel and allows the engine to run richer in the lower-mid rpm range (Under 5000 rpm).
All model versions will benefit by fitting the CRT Optimiser whether stock or tuned.
Advantages are that the engine runs noticeably cooler so runs much smoother with a much improved throttle response, particularly at low-mid rpm.
Easy to install just plug and play, no engine lights and you don't remove the O2 sensor. Also enables DynoJet Power Commander 6 to be fitted and fuel mapped for 2021-on Euro 5 models.

NOTE: After fitting you may see the service light on your dash. The bike needs to be ridden a few times for the ECU to recalibrate itself. KTM/Husqvarna reccomend leaving the bike on idle for an ECU reset but we advise riding it through several cycles until the ECU has recalibrated. Scan QR Code for simple fitting instructions.

Parts Fitting
We recommend these parts be fitted by a competent/professional mechanical technician using correct tools & procedures working to OEM standards. CRT Performance Parts Ltd can take no responsibility for any incorrect fitting or installation of these parts.
Fuel Optimiser Fitting
Take off the left rad panel and there is also a tool box under there that can be removed to make things easier. Follow the cable back from the lambda sensor in the header pipe until you see the multi-plug connector. Then simply disconnect the multi-plug, fit the Fuel Optimiser into the cable from the lambda sensor and plug the other into the main loom. Be careful not to force the multi-plug connection and bend the fragile connector pins. Secure the cable from heat/sharp edges with ties and refit body panels in reverse order.
NOTE: The engine 'Service' warning lamp maybe illuminated when starting the bike for the first few times. This will extinguish following a few rides once the ECU has automatically recalibrated.
This part is for Closed Course/off-road competition use only and maybe against local traffic laws. CRT Performance Parts Ltd advise Not for Highway Use.
